The competitions consist of four divisions; Men, Women, Junior, and Sub-Junior, with the exception of Target Species Competitions, the Otto Scott & Jack Daley Memorial Trophy Comps and one-off day competitions.
Each division placing will be as follows:
Prizes (Normal Monthly Inshore & Offshore Competitions Only)
Prizes for the Freshwater monthly competitions will be awarded at the end of year presentation night.
Jack Daley and Otto Scott Memorial Trophies
The competition will be fished over club organised freshwater competition events which will be published in the club calendar for each year. The angler - Man, Woman, Junior or Sub-junior who catches the combined heaviest scoring bag of 2 fish per species (as per the monthly point scoring system) across those organised freshwater events will win the Otto Scott Trophy.
The largest fish caught during the club organised freshwater events will win the Jack Daley Trophy.
Fish caught outside of competition including the monthly freshwater competitions will not count towards the Otto Scott or Jack Daley Memorial Trophies.
The largest fish caught during the club organised freshwater events will win the Jack Daley Trophy.

Stand-alone Competitions
Target a Species Month-Long Competition
Each year there are two target-a-species competitions, one is during the month of June, and the other is September.
June's target fish is (Inshore), Bream only, and (offshore), Pearl Perch.
September, the Inshore target fish is Summer Whiting only and the Offshore fish is Snapper.
Note Tarwhine are no longer an eligible species for the Bream comp.
If, during a target a species month a member catches a fish (other than the nominated species for that month), that could hold a club record:

- Points will not be used for the yearlong competition.

The Points System
The following example will demonstrate the points scoring system that will be used for inshore and freshwater.
Although the only species mentioned here as an example is Bream, all species will be weighed in using this system. The Points system for the monthly competition is as follows:
The heaviest bream caught for the month = 10 points
The second heaviest bream caught for the month = 9 points The third heaviest bream caught for the month = 8 points
All the way down to the tenth heaviest Bream, which will score 1 point
All other fish caught by anglers, in their bags of two fish per species will score 1 point
For offshore competitions, 5 points per fish and 5 points per kilo will be allocated.
The same scoring system will apply for all eligible species.
